Natural Hoof Trimming
I am based in Maungaturoto and I service the Northland and Auckland district from Whangarei to West Auckland.
With over 20 years of experience in barefoot trimming and hoof care, I treat every horse with patience and respect. I can trim horses of all breeds and ages and am also able to trim the hooves of donkeys.
Bare hoof care is a process that takes time; it doesn’t happen overnight. The process and length of time is dependent on the current condition of the hoof. Several factors determine the condition of a horse’s hoof. These include diet, the amount of movement the horse does and the environment in which that movement occurs.
With this in mind, the above will determine how much work is needed to maintain the hoof in optimum condition. With your commitment to providing the best care for your horse, coupled with my experience and knowledge, I will gladly assist you to give your horse the best possible care.
